DualTioune

Is there a roadmap, when we can expect a first release for the complete usage of the MiniTiouner Pro V2 including double TS ?

We do have the hardware, but nothing else. Just a brief estimate would help...

Hello,

I cannot answer: DualTioune was made in 2017 from Minitioune v0.6, so works only DVB-S , decoding Mpeg2/H264 video and MpegAudio only.

So I have to work on it to add all new features we have now with Minitioune V0.9.

But Minitioune v0.9 continue to evolve, now I am adding a spectrum Analyzer, very useful for Oscar100. Minitioune will be able to detect Frequency and SR for each stations...

I think (hope) I will now reach the end for all new MiniTioune new features.

When Minitioune development will be stopped, I go back to DualTioune, about 1month of work

Thanks for your reply Jean-Pierre!

Excellent work in the meantime. That spectrum-analyzer feature is excellent! Can't wait to test it, as the web-SDR is offline

Dualtioune is the software / MiniTiounerPro the hardware with the dual possibility.

To use Dualtioune on the same band ( as Oscar-100) you need only one input Fplug A or B
You don't need any splitter. All is done inside the NIM
The FTS4334L NIM has 2 tuners ( only one Fplug input will be used for Oscar-100 as all stations are on the same band from the same LNB) and 2 demodulators, so we can receive and demodulate 2 stations at same time.
Dualtioune can show us only one video at a time, there is the switch TS1/TS2 that allow you to go from one station to the other
But you can see both stations at same time if you send one of the TS to VLC using UDP. ( or send both TS to 2 instances of VLC).

That already works with the DVB-S version you can see here on my precedent post.
