Hi, i have now successfully aligned my dish and am receiving a good strong carrier lock between 75 and 80%. I am able to receive transmissions on the wide band portion.

However for some reason I am not able to receive broadcast transmissions, for example the memory channel at the bottom of the list does not enable me to receive a picture DVMODE set to DVB-S. SR27500 FREQ 11996MHZ, My dish is 100cm with green octogan LNB.

Can anyone advise please.

Hi group

further to my recent request for guidence regarding not being able to recieve general broadcast channels on my minitiouner v2. I have since discovered that I can recieve general broadcast using version 8 of the software, version 9 does not allow me to recieve general broadcast channels, ie sr27500 freq 11996000.

I attach 2 photos, one showing version 8 and the other version 9. This is all new to me so any help/thoughts would be grateful.

hello Alan,

Your signal seems to be not very strong, but should be received with both versions.

when you use the v0.8 you set the fec3/4 ( and 2 or 3 others values)
when you use the v0.9 you don't set the fec ( fec all) so it is a little more difficult for Minitioune to find the station.
Could you try the v0.9 giving the fec value? (3/4)

I am not sureif it is the reason but we must start with this test.
